t is used to connect a RS485 or RS422 network to the USB port of a Personal Computer.

 

These electrical standards, , which are suitable to connect many devices on a single serial line, guarantee a very good noise rejection even at a long distance.

 

The optical insulation between the USB signal and the outputs RS485/RS422 guarantees the safety of connected devices.

 

This converter is suitable for the connection of a PC  with network of timber kiln controllers, or for whatever other application where a RS485/RS422 interface is required. 

 

USB485 also acts as hardware dongle for the software from Logica H&S which are not released as freeware.
